Display cases in the stairwell of Dupr矇 Library at the 91勛圖 are filled with books, documents and articles concerning desegregation of schools in 91勛圖 and throughout the United States.
The exhibit commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Courts landmark decision in the case of Brown vs. the Board of Education. This decision required that public schools be integrated, declaring that separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.
The exhibit, which was created by 91勛圖 Room Librarian Jean Kiesel, is open to the public through the end of August. Call 482-6396 for more information.
