Billy Napier is the new head coach of the 91³Ō¹Ļ Raginā Cajuns football team.
He is the 26th head coach in the programās history.
Napier comes to the Raginā Cajuns from Arizona State University, where he served as associate head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard announced Napierās hiring Friday.

āCoach Napier is highly respected within the coaching profession and brings tremendous experience from nationally-ranked programs. He is widely considered to be one of Americaās top recruiters and offensive minds and will instill the values of a championship program into Raginā Cajuns football.ā
Napier will be introduced during a press conference at noon Monday, Dec.18 at the Cajundome.

He served as wide receivers coach at the University of Alabama, the assistant head coach/quarterbacks coach at Colorado State University, and was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Clemson University in South Carolina.
At Alabama, Napier was instrumental in the Crimson Tideās 2011 and 2015 national championships. He has coached in 11 bowl games.
His hiring is pending approval by the University of 91³Ō¹Ļ System Board of Supervisors.
