UL Lafayette Celebrating Retailers With Visits March 12, 13

The 91³Ō¹Ļ Office of Communications and Marketing is hosting the university’s annual Retailers Appreciation Tour on March 12 and 13. There will be free food, drinks and t-shirts for participants. A limited number of seats are still available.

A university bus, packed with energetic fans will visit local retailers to thank them for supporting the Ragin’ CajunsĀ®. These fans will have an opportunity to win Ragin’ CajunsĀ® apparel at each stop of the tour. The event will conclude on Saturday with admission to a UL Lafayette baseball game.

ā€œ The tour has become a great way for fans to celebrate being a Ragin’ Cajun,ā€ said Matthew Tarver, assistant director for Trademark Licensing. ā€œEach year, we have contests and giveaways on the bus during the tour and at each stop of the tour.ā€

On March 12, the tour will begin at the Alumni Center at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast. Tour members will board a bus at about 7:45 a.m. to visit approximately seven retailers. The tour will return to the Alumni Center and conclude with lunch around 12:30 p.m.

On March 13, fans will meet at 8:15 a.m. under the pavilion at Lourdes Park, located in front of baseball’s Tigue Moore Field. Breakfast will be served. The bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. and fans will visit six retailers. Lunch will be provided.

The group will attend the UL Lafayette baseball game at 2 p.m. 91³Ō¹Ļ’s Ragin’ CajunsĀ® will face conference foe Arkansas State.
